Rubens Duarte

Rubens de Siqueira Duarte is a researcher, professor, and analyst of international politics. Given his scientific contributions, the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) granted Rubens the Productivity Researcher recognition.

Rubens holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Birmingham, MsC in Political Science from the Institute for Social and Political Studies at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ), BA in Internacional Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and BA in Law from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).

Currently, he holds a professorship position at the Post-Graduate Program in Military Sciences at the Meira Mattos Institute at the Brazilian Command and General Staff College, where he researches and lectures a range of topics related to International Relations and Defence. He also coordinates the World Political Analysis Laboratory (LABMUNDO) and the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC).
